Medicinal Uses of Hash…

Hash is the pure resin separated and collected from the flowering tops of cannabis plants.  Hash, comes in a solid form and can vary from a golden brown to black and even red in color, and can be administered as a medicine by smoking, vaping or eating. Please note, that  the THC content in hash can be much higher than that of cannabis, depending on the strain and quality of cannabis used.  Therefore, using hash can be very beneficial for medicinal purposes as the higher potency may offer a longer lasting effect and less is needed to achieve a therapeutic dose. Many patients suffering from debilitating and painful illnesses are benefiting from the therapeutic properties contained in hash.

Because of the (possible) higher THC level in hash, it is important to consume it slowly and in moderation!

Some of the possible medicinal uses of Hash are:

  • Alleviating Nausea and vomiting
  • Appetite stimulation for patients undergoing chemo and AIDS patients
  • Effective in glaucoma treatment by decreasing intra-ocular eye pressure
  • Relieves Gastrointestinal illnesses
  • Relieves pain
  • Helps with Insomnia
