Medicinal Cannabis Dosing: Not a One Size Fits All

The goal for most cannabis patients is to find just the right dosage to get relief from their symptoms, without getting the psychedelic effects of the THC. However, when it comes to dosing Medicinal Cannabis, it is not a one size fits all medicine and the amount that works for one person may not be sufficient or may be too much for another. There are even those who are ultra sensitive to the effects of THC and for them less is definitely more!

As quoted from Project CBD “Cannabis compounds have biphasic properties, which means that low and high doses of the same substance can produce opposite effects. Small doses of cannabis tend to stimulate; large doses sedate. Too much THC, while not lethal, can amplify anxiety… CBD has no known adverse side effects at any dose, but an excessive amount of CBD could be less effective therapeutically than a moderate dose. “Less is more” is often the case with respect to medicinal cannabis therapy”
