According to the National Centre for PTSD about seven or eight out of every 100 people will experience PTSD at some point in their lives. As for how many Canadians may be affected by this disorder…. A study found that Canada had the highest rate of PTSD of the 24 countries included in the study – 9.2 percent of Canadians will suffer from PTSD in their lifetimes. The Netherlands, Australia and the US followed. Nigeria, China and Romania had the lowest level.
Although there are no medications that have been specifically designed to treat PTSD, there are a variety of medications currently used to treat other psychiatric conditions such as mood and anxiety, but there are none without some type of negative side effects.
Are there any more natural alternative medications to treat this condition without side effects? Recent human and animal studies show promise that Cannabidiol (CBD) may offer therapeutic benefits for PTSD without the negative side effects of conventional medications to read full study click here https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6066583/
